While the beginning of this movie has some not-so-good parts showing the decadent life of the main character, once you get past that part (a heated bed scene), this is a great movie. The plot is excellent, the dialog 100 x better than Transformers, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey play their parts exceptionally well. I thought the villains were a bit over-the-top, but overall this movie is very entertaining. One of the few movies that I didn't regret paying full price for.
I think you mean one of the few movies that you DID regret waiting to see until it was in the dollar theater.

ReplyDeleteI agree with your assessment, awesome movie. Even though you have a good point about some of the dialog in Transformers but that movie was so awesome it wasn't ruined by a couple lame lines.
I saw this a few weeks ago and I really liked it. Not as good as other superhero movies I think, because it was a little unrealistic (Batman is much more realistic about explaining all his gadgets), but overall it was a good and enjoyable movie.
